MAY IARCC

Hi all, this is my submission for the May I am Roses Color Contest. This is for my mom to put her pens and pencils in for on her computer desk. This is a pen/pencil holder I made out of a Hershey's unsweetened cocoa container. I painted the top rim teal, added purple paper the whole way around, topped the paper with a beautiful wide lace ribbon. The swirl, I cut with my Cricut and covered with crystal colored glitter. All the flowers are I Am Roses except for the biggest one. I added flatback pearl trim under the rim. I also added loose flatback pearls as accents around the flowers and on the swirl. To top it off I added a Happy Mom's Day stamp on the inside of the container. The pencils are all painted with acrylic paint and coated with a glossy acrylic sealer. Small bead trim and more I Am Roses adorn the top of the pencils. Thanks for looking at my blog. ~Karen

Hostess gift altered pillow box filled with Dove chocolate caramel candies.

Girls night party!! I made this altered pillow box for the hostess of the party. It turned out soooo cute!! And she just adored it, or was ot the Dove chocolates that she adored. Either way she proudly displayed it for all to see. I found a pillow box template online, copied it into a word doc where i adjusted the size to my need. I traces thr template on to the pattern paper and cwutting and scoring where needed. The offwhite flowers are from isabelb3 etsy store. The brown flower i dyed with alcohol ink and sprayed them with Perfect Pearls. You can see i also added the bling and beautiful ribbon. I just love hoe this pillow box turned out!!
